ReHIPS' pop-up system works great.
For monitoring and trouble-shooting it sure is a useful visual cue.
When I see a pop-up, then I can go to the log and take a closer look.
Some other security softs do not give blocking event feedback to the user - which I always find curious.
If user doesn't want it, then they can disable it.
