Firefox in IE in maximized window - Windows taskbar not shown

I run Firefox maximized in an isolated environment (red border around the window). However, I notice that the Windows taskbar remains hidden and only appears when I press the Windows key. With other programs that are not running in an isolated environment when I move the mouse cursor to the bottom of the monitor the Windows taskbar appears as per my normal settings.

In the case of Firefox that I described above is it by design that the Windows taskbar does not appear when the mouse moves towards it?

I guess you use taskbar autohide feature? When it's hidden and shown only when you move your mouse near it.

And I guess you have FireFox running on the main desktop, not on a separate one?

And what FireFox version do you use?

Is it just the case of FireFox or other maximized isolated programs also make taskbar behave this way?

Stephen

I use the taskbar autohide feature and Firefox is running on the main desktop.

My Firefox version is 67.0.4 (64-bit).

Other maximized isolated programs also make the taskbar behave this way.

And your Windows version is ?

Thank you for your report. Opened a ticket to check this issue.

This one is also confirmed. It's related to isolation border (the border around isolated windows). If you disable it, it should work as expected. Will look for a way to fix it.
BTW, this issue is Windows 10-related. Windows 7 and Windows 8 seem to work OK.
