What may be good practice concerning Thunderbird?

I'm wondering what may be considered as good practice for using Thunderbird.

I have several email accounts that are updated on my PC using IMAP. Emails as we know contain attachments and links. So, should Thunderbird.exe and the related plugin-container.exe be treated in any special way? In my system the settings include:

Can Execute Programs: Inspect children
Can be Executed: Allow
Can Execute Sub-Programs: Inapplicable

fixer

If I remember correctly, Thunderbird should be in rules installed by default.

thunderbird.exe:
Can Execute Programs: Inspect children
Can be Executed: Allow
Can Execute Sub-Programs: Inapplicable

plugin-container.exe:
Can Execute Programs: Allow
Can be Executed: Allow
Can Execute Sub-Programs: Inapplicable
