Once upon a time there was a nice and shiny shortcut registered, e.g. Ctrl+Alt+X. It switched user to another desktop back and forth. And everyone was happy. But a terrible danger came to a land of shortcuts out of thin air with an update. Windows stopped remembering what buttons were pressed. If earlier user could press Ctrl and Alt and then just click X to switch back and forth, now he has to unpress Ctrl and Alt, press them again and only then click X, it doesn't work otherwise. Sad but true, but using shortcuts for desktop switching isn't such a good idea now.

This issue was found several months ago, it wasn't fixed then. I haven't checked it since.
