In the previous blogpost we saw that some folders are blocked for ReHIPS isolated programs. But there also are some folders with allowed access. So what are they and why are they needed? Currently there are only a few such folders. But if some other will be added, I'll update this blogpost.

1. C:\ReHIPS\<some_name> folder. This folder is not quite added by default, it's added according to the RulesManager rule (see my previous blogpost about ways to make ReHIPS rules here https://forum.rehips.com/index.php?topic=9529.0). But I'll write about it here anyway so this folder won't raise any questions. C:\ReHIPS is a special ReHIPS folder. You can read about it in one of my previous blogposts here https://forum.rehips.com/index.php?topic=9487.0 So we have to allow certain access to this folder.

2. C:\Windows\Tasks folder. This allow permission has to be granted to workaround Windows bug I described in one of my previous blogposts here https://forum.rehips.com/index.php?topic=9479.0 Otherwise a program working with tasks will corrupt heap and eventually crash.
